Ahliana Dickey Obituary, – Officials have apprehended the boyfriend of a 15-year-old girl who was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound in her residence in Lowell on Friday evening. The victim has been identified as Ahliana Dickey, and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan announced on Monday that Trevor Bady, a 21-year-old resident of Tewksbury, has been charged with her murder.

Bady was taken into custody at a Peabody residence on Monday afternoon, according to officials. He is facing multiple charges, including murder, armed home invasion, and unlawful possession of a firearm. During a press conference on Monday, Ryan stated that Dickey’s family members grew concerned about her well-being when she failed to attend her eighth-grade graduation on Friday.

At approximately 6:10 p.m. that day, Dickey’s grandmother discovered her injured and potentially deceased in a bedroom on the first floor of their Lawrence Street home, as reported by Ryan. Upon the arrival of the police, Dickey was found on the floor with gunshot wounds. In the early hours of that morning, the Lowell police received a call from an individual who reported witnessing a man and a woman, later identified as Dickey and Bady, engaged in a physical altercation outside across the street.

According to a statement from Ryan’s office, the caller stated that they heard a female voice screaming phrases such as “Get off me, get away from me, I don’t want to be with you anymore,” and also reported hearing gunshots.

Although the police responded to the scene, they did not find anyone present at that time. Subsequently, video footage was recovered which depicted Dickey calling out for assistance shortly before midnight. Bady was allegedly observed leaving Dickey’s residence on Lawrence Street after midnight.

On Saturday, it was discovered that Bady had purportedly utilized an Uber to travel to and from Dickey’s house both before and after the murder. The Uber driver reported having an encounter with a “suspicious passenger” and expressed concerns about Bady’s behavior, as relayed by Ryan.

Following an initial investigation, authorities learned that Dickey had been involved in an allegedly abusive relationship with Bady. She had confided in several individuals about the abuse, which reportedly included various acts of violence.
