Bryan Raymond Obituary, Hampton County man dies after July 4 car vs. pedestrian crash has been identified

Bryan Raymond Obituary, – Hampton County emergency responders and the South Carolina Highway Patrol were called to the scene of a car versus pedestrian incident that took place on July 4 at around 11:39 p.m. near the junction of U.S. Highway 321 and Watson Road, located about one mile north of Estill in southern Hampton County.

Following the collision, one individual sustained injuries and was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah for medical treatment. The Hampton County Coroner, Anna Fields, was informed on July 9 by the Savannah hospital that the man involved in the incident, identified as Bryan Raymond, 49, from the Estill area, had passed away five days after the accident.

According to the collision report filed by Lance Corporal Brittany Glover of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2006 Lincoln Town Car was heading north on U.S. 321 when it struck Raymond, who was trying to cross the highway. The two occupants of the Lincoln were unharmed in the incident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the matter, as confirmed by Fields.
