Danielle Littrell Obituary, Woman killed in downtown Spokane scooter crash identified

Danielle Littrell Obituary,  – The individual involved in the scooter accident that occurred on Tuesday morning has been identified as Danielle Littrell, a 23-year-old. The Spokane County Medical Examiner determined that her passing was due to blunt force injuries to the head and torso sustained during the incident.

Firefighters from the Spokane Fire Department responded to the crash shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2nd. A representative from the Spokane Police Department stated in a press release that a female scooter rider lost her life in the collision.

Reportedly, the woman was traveling north on Lincoln Street towards 4th Avenue on her scooter. Simultaneously, a man driving eastbound on 4th Avenue came to a stop at the intersection. The collision occurred when the driver proceeded into the intersection, resulting in the crash between his vehicle and the woman on the scooter, as per the police report.

Bystanders in the vicinity administered CPR to the victim until emergency responders arrived at the scene. Lincoln Street was closed off by the police for several hours to conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident. Although the inquiry was ongoing as of Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement indicated that impairment was unlikely to have been a factor for the driver.
