Delaney Eary,Hayden Rybicki Obituary – Seven individuals were shot, resulting in the deaths of four of them, during a shooting incident in Kentucky early Saturday morning. Law enforcement officers were called to a residence in Florence, Kentucky, around 3 a.m. after receiving reports of an “active shooter,” as stated by the Florence Police Department. At the scene, seven individuals were discovered with gunshot wounds.

Police confirmed that four of the seven victims were pronounced dead on-site. The deceased were identified as Delaney Eary (19 years old), Hayden Rybicki (20 years old), Melissa Parret (44 years old), and Shane Miller (20 years old) by Florence Police Chief Jeff Mallery. The remaining three victims are currently receiving medical treatment and are anticipated to recover, according to Mallery. The suspected shooter, 21-year-old Chase Garvey, fled the scene in his vehicle, but law enforcement officers swiftly located the car and initiated a pursuit. Garvey eventually crashed his vehicle into a ditch and absconded.

Florence police later discovered him with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Garvey was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Chief Mallery mentioned that the shooting took place during a birthday celebration for Parrett’s 21-year-old child. Although Garvey was not invited to the event, he was acquainted with the individuals commemorating the occasion.
