Gregory Hood Obituary, One man dead following a motorcycle crash in Crownsville

Gregory Hood Obituary – Anne Arundel County Police are currently looking into a fatal motorcycle collision that resulted in the death of an individual in Crownsville on Saturday morning.

It was reported that the incident occurred at approximately 7:48 a.m. when law enforcement officers responded to St. Stephens Church Road and Penderbrooke Drive following a report of a motorcycle-involved vehicle crash.

According to the initial findings, a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle was heading north on St. Stephens Church Road when it veered across the center line into the path of oncoming traffic. Subsequently, the motorcycle collided with a 2014 Toyota Sequoia that was traveling south on the same road.

The operator of the Suzuki, identified as 59-year-old Gregory Hood from Shady Side, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was unharmed, as confirmed by authorities. The Traffic Safety Section is currently conducting an investigation into this tragic incident.
