Lucille Pickney,Hernan Pickney Obituary, – Daniel Hyden, a 44-year-old resident of Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, has been apprehended by the New York City police for allegedly driving into a crowd during an Independence Day celebration, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to eight others.

Hyden faces charges of three counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of aggravated unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle in the second degree. The NYPD has indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming. CNN has made attempts to locate legal representation for Hyden. The tragic incident occurred when a truck, driven by Hyden, entered a park in Manhattan’s Lower East Side late Thursday, striking a group of individuals celebrating the holiday.

The vehicle, a gray Ford F-150, was reportedly traveling at a high speed when it failed to negotiate the road, colliding with 11 pedestrians inside Corlears Hook Park around 9 p.m. Among the deceased are Lucille Pickney, 59, and Hernan Pickney, 38, with their relationship remaining unclear. The identity of the third victim has not been disclosed. Seven of the injured individuals, aged between 11 and 35, were transported to hospitals in stable condition, while a 30-year-old woman was in critical condition upon arrival at the hospital, as per the NYPD.
