Ray Bernal Jr Obituary, – The Tucson Police Department has released updated information regarding the fatal shooting that occurred on the south side of Tucson on June 21. A second suspect, Gabriel Duran, aged 46, has been apprehended and is now being held at the Pima County Jail, facing a charge of first-degree murder. No bond amount has been established.

The incident took place near south 13th Avenue and west Drexel Road, where police discovered a deceased man with signs of trauma, identified as 22-year-old Ray Bernal Jr. The initial suspect, 35-year-old Daniel Gonzales, was previously arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail, facing charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping. Further investigation revealed that Bernal was attacked by two adult males, resulting in a fatal gunshot wound. The second suspect, Gabriel Duran, was identified during the investigation, and an arrest warrant was issued on June 28. Duran was subsequently located and taken into custody on July 2 with the assistance of law enforcement officers.
