Antoinette Andrea Rodriguez Obituary – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who tragically lost her life after being struck by a vehicle on April 22 on Niles Street near Oswell Street. According to officials, Antoinette Andrea Rodriguez, a 30-year-old resident of Bakersfield, was walking in a northbound direction, crossing the eastbound lanes of Niles Street outside of a designated crosswalk. Despite receiving significant injuries, she unfortunately succumbed to them early Tuesday morning at Kern Medical. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has stated that there is no indication of alcohol or drug involvement in the accident.
