Brian Cosby Obituary, Death; Suspect arrested in connection of shooting that killed one man
Brian Cosby Obituary, Death; – Chesterfield County Police have apprehended a suspect in connection with a shooting incident that resulted in the death of one individual and the injury of another. The incident took place on May 26 at 8:15 p.m. on Periwinkle Drive, where officers found two adult victims with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, identified as 46-year-old Brian Cosby from Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, an adult woman, was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
On Monday, May 27, Chesterfield police announced the arrest of 45-year-old Dion Rucker from Rice, VA, in connection with the homicide. Rucker is now facing charges including second-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
