Christopher Johnson Obituary, Death; – Two 18-year-olds are facing charges following a crash that killed a construction worker near St. Louis. Police responded around 10:35 a.m. Friday to the scene in south St. Louis County where a Cadillac had crashed. According to a St. Louis County Police probable cause statement, Deondre Robinson and Patrick Aten were racing each other at a high rate of speed when Robinson lost control, spun, and hit two construction workers.
One construction worker, identified as 34-year-old Christopher Johnson, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to an area hospital for serious injuries. Robinson and Aten are both charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter and second-degree assault. Robinson was also charged with operating a vehicle on a highway without a license. Both are being held on a $150,000 cash-only bond.
