Dennis R. Jones Obituary, 2 victims charged with murder after body found in ditch

Dennis R. Jones Obituary, – KCCI reported that two Fort Dodge men are now in custody after a body with a gunshot wound was discovered in a ditch in Webster County. The body was found by a rural mail carrier in the 2100 mile of 280th Street, as reported by the Fort Dodge Police Department. Webster County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the scene and identified the deceased as 55-year-old Dennis R. Jones from Fort Dodge.

Upon further examination of the scene, it was determined that Jones had not been shot at the location where his body was found. As a result, a search warrant was executed at 1440 Second Avenue S. in Fort Dodge. Alec R. Jones, 26 years old, has been charged with first-degree murder, while Nathan T. Jones, 21 years old, has been charged with aiding and abetting first-degree murder. Both individuals are currently in custody at the Webster County Jail.
