Domonique McGeachy,Jerel McGeachy Jr Obituary, – The deaths of three individuals in a residence in Kansas City’s Northland have been determined to be a result of a murder-suicide, according to the police. The victims were identified as 38-year-old Domonique A. McGeachy, 12-year-old Jerel D. McGeachy Jr., and 38-year-old Jerel D. McGeachy. While the deaths of the mother and son are being treated as homicides, the third individual died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators are not currently seeking any other suspects in connection with the incident, as the investigation is ongoing. The bodies were discovered after a family member reported that the mother and son had not shown up at their respective locations. The 12-year-old boy had gained attention in recent years for his public readings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speeches and his involvement in community service activities.
