Fernando Mondragon Obituary, Man from Fresno killed in Kings County crash identified
Fernando Mondragon Obituary- Law enforcement officials have identified the Fresno man who tragically lost his life in a crash in Kings County over the weekend. The victim, Fernando Mondragon, 23, was driving a blue Chevrolet Malibu with a passenger when the incident occurred.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Mondragon was traveling north on Avenal Cutoff Road while another driver in a white Ford F-150 was heading southbound on the same road. Unfortunately, Mondragon’s vehicle veered into the southbound lane, resulting in a head-on collision with the other vehicle. Tragically, Mondragon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the F-150 sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, while the passenger of the Chevrolet also suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Kaweah Health Medical Center. At this time, there have been no updates on their conditions.
