James H. Wilson III Obituary – A man from Birmingham has been identified as the individual who passed away on Monday in a head-on collision in St. Clair County. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on U.S. Highway 231 close to the 207-mile marker, around 12 miles south of Pell City, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). James H. Wilson III, aged 55, lost his life when the 2021 Dodge ProMaster van he was operating collided head-on with a 2024 Volvo tractor-trailer. Authorities mentioned that he was not wearing a seat belt during the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. The crash is currently being investigated by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
