Jayden Hanson,Channing Swertfeger Obituary – The identities of the three teenagers who lost their lives in a tragic accident have been disclosed by authorities. Whiteside County coroner Joe McDonald confirmed that Douglas “DJ” Dorothy, aged 16, along with Channing Swertfeger and Jayden Hanson, both 14 years old, were the victims of the crash near Tampico. The incident was reported by Sauk Valley Media.
Law enforcement officers responded to the scene of a collision involving a semi-trailer and a Ford pickup at Hahnman and Luther roads in rural Tampico, Illinois, at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, as stated by Whiteside County Sheriff John F. Booker. Regrettably, the three teenagers lost their lives in the accident. The Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico school district took to Facebook on Thursday evening to announce that they have initiated crisis counseling services.
