Jeanette Nyiramariza Obituary, Death; – Indiana State Police reported that a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred in Jasper County early Monday morning, resulting in the death of a Chicago woman. The incident took place at 1:30 a.m. on I-65 northbound lanes near the 216 mile-marker, just one mile north of the Rensselaer exit.
According to the preliminary investigation, a black 2012 Jeep traveling northbound veered off the right side of the road and overturned, causing all occupants to be ejected from the vehicle. Emergency responders provided medical assistance to the injured individuals on-site, with three of them being taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of severe injuries. Tragically, one occupant, identified as 54-year-old Jeanette Nyiramariza from Chicago, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The family of Nyiramariza has been informed of the heartbreaking news. Authorities have ruled out alcohol or drugs as contributing factors to the crash, and the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
