Jesus Bonilla Obituary, Man killed in two-vehicle rollover crash in unincorporated McHenry County

Jesus Bonilla Obituary – A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in unincorporated McHenry County, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old man. The incident took place at the intersection of South Union Road and East Coral Road in Coral Township. Emergency responders from various districts, including the Union Fire Protection District, Marengo Fire and Rescue Districts, and McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, were dispatched to the scene.

The crash involved a 2000 Toyota Sienna and a 2008 Toyota 4Runner. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Toyota Sienna failed to yield at a stop sign, leading to a collision with the Toyota 4Runner. The impact caused the Toyota 4Runner to roll onto its side. Despite the request for a medical helicopter, it was later canceled. The passenger in the Toyota Sienna, identified as Jesus Bonilla, a 23-year-old resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger in the Toyota Sienna sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medicine in Huntley. The drivers of both vehicles were also transported to Advocate for medical treatment.
