Kevin Constantine Obituary – One individual lost their life and a law enforcement officer was wounded in a traffic collision yesterday morning in Trincity. The deceased has been identified as Kevin Constantine, residing on Grasshopper Lane in Diego Martin. According to reports, at approximately 1 a.m., Constantine was driving a grey Mazda 323 heading east on the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway when the vehicle collided with a blue Mitsubishi Lancer. The Lancer was in the process of turning north onto Trincity Central Road at the time.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage upon impact, resulting in fatal injuries for Constantine, who passed away at the scene. The driver of the Lancer, a police officer from Freeport, also sustained severe injuries and was transported to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope. Sgt Perez is currently conducting investigations. This incident brings the total number of road fatalities for the year to 21, the same as the figure for the corresponding period in 2023.
