Preliminary findings suggest that she was struck by gunfire while inside her residence, originating from outside the dwelling. Gloria Johnson, a nearby resident, shared her experience, stating, “It shook my house; it felt like someone was attempting to break in.” Witnesses reported that the gunfire was rapid, prompting individuals to take cover. Drew Burasco, another resident in the area, mentioned that investigators were present until early Thursday morning, securing the scene and gathering evidence.
