Marjorie Hinds Obituary, Petersburg woman killed in State Route 97 crash identified

Marjorie Hinds Obituary – The 60-year-old female who passed away following a motor vehicle collision on Illinois State Route 97 in Menard County has been identified by Sangamon County Coroner, Jim Allmon. Marjorie Hinds, a resident of Petersburg, was declared deceased at Springfield Memorial Hospital at 10:52 p.m. on May 11, after being transported by EMS from the accident site. A post-mortem examination conducted on Monday revealed that she succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries from the crash. The circumstances surrounding her death are currently being investigated by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Illinois State Police.
