Michael Gawlik Jr Obituary, Beach man arrested after victim found shot to death
Michael Gawlik Jr Obituary – A 22-year-old man is currently in custody following the discovery of a deceased individual in a vehicle in Boynton Beach last year. The victim, Michael Gawlik Jr., 21, was found inside a BMW on September 6th, located on the on-ramp from Woolbright Road to southbound Interstate 95. Authorities received a call reporting the sound of seven to eight gunshots in the vicinity.
Upon arriving at the scene, police observed that Gawlik, a resident of Pompano Beach, had sustained gunshot wounds to the neck area and upper right thigh. A probable cause affidavit revealed that surveillance footage from a RaceTrac gas station on Woolbright Road depicted both Gawlik and the suspect, Jaquan Perry, present at the store shortly before 3 p.m. Subsequently, both individuals departed the store in separate vehicles, with Perry pursuing Gawlik’s BMW as they headed east on Woolbright Road, as per the investigators’ findings.
