Nancy Richmond,Crystal Brunn Obituary, Death; – Jose Medina-Hernandez, 33, is facing charges after allegedly causing a fatal accident by rear-ending a vehicle while driving a box truck in Shelby Township. The victims, identified as 88-year-old Nancy Richmond and 63-year-old Crystal Brunn, lost their lives in the crash. Medina-Hernandez has been charged with two counts of a moving violation causing death, a misdemeanor that carries a potential sentence of up to a year in jail.
The incident, which also involved two other vehicles in a “chain reaction,” occurred on southbound M-53 near 22 Mile. Medina-Hernandez was arraigned in Shelby Township’s 41A District Court, where bail was set at $250,000 cash or surety. The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office expressed condolences to the families affected and emphasized their commitment to seeking justice for the victims.
