Neil Ballai Obituary – The driver who was part of the fatal accident resulting in the death of 55-year-old Neil Ballai on Thursday has surrendered himself and is reportedly collaborating with the authorities. A statement released by the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment on Friday afternoon acknowledged the involvement of a civilian and a service member in the incident.
Upon being informed of the situation, the TTR has been diligently supporting the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) in the case. It has been confirmed that the service member in question voluntarily surrendered himself under the guidance of a competent military authority and is fully cooperating with the TTPS during the ongoing investigations.
Emphasizing its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of responsibility and accountability, the TTR also reiterated its firm commitment to safety both on and off duty.
