Rashaun Jackson Obituary – Dava Dezelle Price, aged 15, is facing a felony charge of first-degree murder after allegedly stabbing and killing his mother’s boyfriend in east Tulsa. He has entered a plea of not guilty.
Law enforcement officials were called to an apartment near 21st and Memorial on May 4 at approximately 3 a.m. in response to a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Rashaun Jackson with a stab wound to his chest. Despite efforts by officers and paramedics to save him, Jackson succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Investigators have determined that Jackson was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend’s 15-year-old son, now identified as Dava, who proceeded to stab Jackson with a butcher knife. Dava’s upcoming court appearance is scheduled for June. FOX23 will provide further updates on this developing story.
