Reginald Puryear Obituary, Man killed in Cleveland hit and run crash has been identified

Reginald Puryear Obituary – Cleveland police have named the 65-year-old man killed early Tuesday morning in a hit and run crash. A Cleveland police report has identified the victim as Reginald Puryear, 65 years old, of Cleveland.

Officers were called to the intersection of E. 55th Street and Superior Avenue around 12:50 a.m. Police said Puryear was walking across the street when a car hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the report, officers determined from evidence on scene the suspect vehicle is likely a black Ford Escape. The crash remains under investigation.
