Ri’Kiah Griffie Obituary, – Pennsylvania authorities have confirmed that a woman who was reported missing over a year ago has been discovered deceased inside an abandoned building. The woman, Ri’Kiah Griffie, was 24 years old at the time of her disappearance, as reported by WPXI.

Her mother, Ronda Duke, revealed that October 11, 2022, was the last day she had any contact with her daughter. The Pennsylvania State Police received a call on April 18, informing them that a body had been found in Aliquippa. The body was found buried under debris within the abandoned building, according to a news release from the state police. Griffie had been living with her boyfriend, who resided just one block away from the building. The investigation was taken over by the state police, and dental records were used to confirm that the remains belonged to Griffie, as reported by KDKA.

Her aunt, Allyssa Griffie, expressed her sorrow, stating that her cousin had been left alone in that location while they unknowingly passed by every day. The cause of Griffie’s death and whether foul play is suspected have not been disclosed by officials. Aliquippa is located approximately 30 miles northwest of downtown Pittsburgh.
