Roderick Stroman Obituary – The man who was fatally shot in a parked car in San Diego’s East County last weekend has been identified by authorities. The incident occurred at around 12:35 a.m. on Sunday in the 7100 block of Waite Drive in La Mesa, as reported by the La Mesa Police Department.

Roderick Stroman, a 42-year-old resident of San Diego, was found by the police with fatal injuries behind the wheel of a parked sedan. The driver’s side window was shattered, indicating how the shooting took place. Sadly, Stroman was pronounced dead at the scene. According to Lt. Katy Lynch, it is believed that the suspect specifically targeted Mr. Stroman. However, the exact nature of their relationship and the motive behind the targeting are still under investigation.

The suspect, described as wearing a dark hoodie, shot the victim and then fled in a dark-colored, four-door sedan, heading eastbound on Waite Drive. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
