Ruby Crowley Obituary, – A tragic accident claimed the life of a Victorian teenager on her way to the supermarket, leaving her best friend to remember her as a young girl full of potential and selflessness.

Ruby Crowley, a 17-year-old, was traveling with her stepfather, Jarrod Stewart, 32, in an Uber when they were involved in a collision with two other vehicles at the intersection of New Dookie and Boundary Rds, Pine Lodge, on the evening of Friday, April 19. Both Ruby and her stepfather were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, but sadly, Ruby passed away two days later.

Maddison Campbell, Ruby’s best friend, revealed that they were on their way to the supermarket when the accident occurred. Campbell expressed the immense void left by Ruby’s death in the lives of everyone who knew her. In a fundraiser set up for Ruby’s family, Campbell described her as a bright young girl with a promising future ahead. She shared that they had planned their futures together, envisioning marriage and children at the same time.

Ruby’s selfless act of organ donation, benefiting six individuals, exemplified her character, according to Campbell. Despite her untimely passing, Ruby chose to give the gift of life to those in need. Ruby is survived by her mother, Amanda Crowley, and three siblings. Campbell emphasized the indescribable bond between Ruby and her mother, acknowledging the immense pain Amanda must be experiencing after losing both her partner and daughter in the blink of an eye. Jarrod Stewart recently emerged from an induced coma, but he sustained severe injuries in the crash and will require multiple surgeries in the future.
