Shawn Seesahai Obituary, Boy 12, found guilty of killing man in U.K. machete attack

Shawn Seesahai Obituary, – Two 12-year-old boys have been convicted of the murder of a man in a machete attack in the United Kingdom last November, as announced by the police on Monday.

The boys, whose identities are protected by law, killed 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in a park in Wolverhampton, central England, according to a statement from West Midlands Police. Seesahai, originally from Anguilla, had been residing in the U.K. for approximately six months, the statement revealed.

The police reported that Seesahai and his friend were approached by a group of “youngsters” while in the park. During the trial at Nottingham Crown Court, it was disclosed that one of the boys shoulder-barged the victim, who was then subjected to punches, kicks, stomps, and strikes with a 42.5cm-long machete, as per PA.

A witness testified that one of the defendants used the machete on Seesahai’s legs while the other assaulted his head with punches and stomps, PA stated. The court was informed that Seesahai sustained an injury that traversed his body from his back, through his ribs, and into his heart, as reported by PA.

The culprits were apprehended two days after the incident, West Midlands Police confirmed. A machete was discovered under one of the boys’ beds, blood-stained clothing was found in a laundry basket belonging to one of the boys, and forensic examination of a mobile phone seized by authorities revealed numerous images of large knives and other weapons.

Seesahai’s mother described him as a “loving son” who was well-mannered, caring towards his family, affectionate to everyone, and very protective. His father emphasized the importance of justice being served, expressing a desire for a fair sentence for the perpetrators rather than life imprisonment. “We are hopeful that we will achieve the justice we seek,” he added. The boys are scheduled to be sentenced in July, according to PA.
