Suzette Thomas Obituary, Female killed, 23 other people injured in St Ann crash

Suzette Thomas Obituary – The woman who passed away due to injuries sustained in the St Ann crash, which also left 23 others injured, has been identified as Suzette Thomas. She was a 49-year-old housekeeper residing on Wildman Street in Kingston.

According to reports from the Ocho Rios police, the incident occurred around 11:20 am when Thomas was a passenger in a Nissan Caravan traveling towards St. Mary. Upon reaching a section of Fern Gully main road, the right front tire of the vehicle blew out. Consequently, the driver lost control of the motor bus, resulting in a collision with a stone wall and subsequent overturning.

In total, 23 individuals, including sixteen children and seven adults, sustained injuries. Thanks to the prompt response from the police, fire brigade, and fellow motorists, the injured were swiftly transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, Thomas was pronounced dead upon arrival. Currently, six individuals remain in serious condition, and investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
