Taneshia Bridges Obituary, 1 dead in early Saturday morning shooting identified

Taneshia Bridges Obituary – An investigation into a homicide is currently underway in Troup County following a shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning. The victim, identified as 41-year-old Taneshia Bridges, tragically lost her life as a result of the incident.

At approximately 2:11 a.m. on April 27, deputies from the Troup County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on Teaver Road after receiving reports of a person who had been shot and was unresponsive. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult female with a gunshot wound. Immediate life-saving measures, including CPR, were initiated by the deputies until the arrival of fire and ambulance personnel who then took over the victim’s care. Despite their efforts, Taneshia Bridges was later pronounced dead at Wellstar West Georgia Emergency Department.
