Xavier Perez Obituary, Victim killed during violent encounter at basketball court

Xavier Perez Obituary – The man who was shot and killed early Friday morning while leaving a South Side basketball court has been identified. The shooting happened just after midnight at Brooks Inner-City Sports on Topeka Boulevard near Interstate 37. Xavier Perez, 27, was shot several times while he was in the parking lot. Numerous shell casing were found at the scene.
