Avelino Sandoval Obituary – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has announced the identification of a man who lost his life in a three-vehicle collision on state Route 60 near Rubidoux. The incident occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway, west of Rubidoux Boulevard, and was reported by the Riverside County Fire Department at approximately 7:10 a.m. on Saturday.
The victim, Avelino Sandoval, a 60-year-old resident of Pico Rivera, tragically passed away at the scene. Additionally, three individuals with minor to moderate injuries were swiftly transported to a hospital for treatment. The California Highway Patrol has taken charge of the crash investigation.
