Benjamin Alan Michael Harmonson Obituary, Death; – The senior deputy whose body was found near a canal along 7th Standard Road has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as Benjamin Alan Michael Harmonson, a 36-year-old resident of Bakersfield. The discovery of his body took place on May 21, west of Verdugo Lane, around 2:45 p.m. Shortly after, numerous law enforcement officers from Kern County arrived at the scene. Later that evening, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Harmonson’s body was escorted by law enforcement to the coroner’s office.
