Byran Theus Obituary, Teen 19, fatally shot outside Shreveport mall on Independence Day ID

Byran Theus Obituary – A mistrial was declared in the trial of Treyvious Dejuan Dotie, 26, who is accused of murdering a teenager. The jury in Caddo Parish was unable to reach a verdict after deliberating for over five hours on May 22. Dotie allegedly shot Byran Theus, 19, outside Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport in 2020. The victim was found shot multiple times outside a store after a confrontation that began inside. Dotie was initially charged with second-degree murder and a new court date has not been scheduled yet.
