Candace Lynn Berglund Obituary, Woman killed, teen injured in highway crash
Candace Lynn Berglund Obituary – A fatal highway collision occurred on Thursday morning a few miles east of Isle, Minn., in Kanabec County, resulting in the death of a woman and serious injuries to a teenager. The incident involved a 35-year-old woman, identified as Candace Lynn Berglund from Ogilvie, Minn., who was driving east on Hwy. 27 and collided with a flatbed truck traveling south on Hwy. 65 at approximately 8 a.m. Tragically, Candace Lynn Berglund did not survive the crash.
The 16-year-old boy accompanying her, Robert Allan-Mich Berglund, also from Ogilvie, was transported to Children’s Minnesota-Minneapolis with life-threatening injuries. The truck driver and their passenger were taken to Welia Health in Mora with noncritical injuries. It is worth noting that all individuals involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, and the road conditions were reported to be dry.
