Itzel Camarena Obituary, Man arrested, charged with fatally shooting pregnant woman

Itzel Camarena Obituary – Police have announced the arrest of a man in Wisconsin in connection with the fatal shooting of a pregnant woman in Chicago. Dontrell Anderson, 26 years old, was apprehended in Manitowoc and subsequently transported back to Chicago.

He has been formally charged with the murder of Itzel Camarena, a 24-year-old woman who was six months pregnant at the time of her death. Camarena’s body was discovered in the Chatham neighborhood, between two trash cans on South Vernon Avenue. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that she died from a gunshot wound to the face. Anderson is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
