Casey Edwin Roush Obituary, Ormond Beach rider killed when motorcycle hits the tree

Casey Edwin Roush Obituary – A police report released on Tuesday revealed that an individual from Ormond Beach lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident. The incident, which took place on March 30, was brought to the attention of The News-Journal six days ago. The crash report, requested on April 3, identified the motorcyclist as Casey Edwin Roush, aged 46.

According to Ormond Beach police, Roush was traveling at an estimated speed of 80 mph in a 45 mph zone on Airport Road, heading south. At approximately 6:32 p.m. on March 30, he collided with a curb near the intersection of Sunshine Boulevard. As a result, the motorcycle rolled and ultimately crashed into a tree at the intersection, causing Roush to be thrown 30 feet away from the vehicle.

Roush was immediately transported to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach by the authorities. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries around 3 a.m. on March 31. The crash report from Ormond Beach police indicated that they suspected Roush had consumed alcohol before the accident.
