Christopher Gray Obituary, Man killed in airboat crash on Mud Creek

Christopher Gray Obituary – Authorities from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency have reported that a man from Tennessee lost his life on Sunday while participating in a bow fishing excursion. According to troopers, the incident occurred in Mud Creek on Lake Guntersville. Christopher Gray, a 43-year-old resident of Dellrose, Tenn., was a passenger on an airboat when it collided with a tree limb.

As a result of the collision, Gray was ejected into the back of the boat, where he collided with the protective cage surrounding the propeller. Tragically, Gray was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the operator of the airboat, a man from Union Grove, emerged from the collision without any injuries. The Marine Patrol Division of ALEA is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
