Curtis Dowell Obituary, Victim, suspect in fatal shooting identified

Curtis Dowell Obituary – The identity of the suspect involved in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Curtis Dowell on Sunday has been released by the Dallas Police Department (DPD). Responding to a shooting incident at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the 3400 block of York Street, DPD officers discovered Dowell with gunshot wounds.

He was immediately transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Dallas police have identified the suspect as Jamee Parsons, aged 31, and have issued an arrest warrant for him. Currently, Parsons is not in custody, according to the police.
