Dimitri Smith Obituary, Man, 46, charged with murder in deadly North York stabbing

Dimitri Smith Obituary – Toronto Police responded to a report of an individual wielding a knife outside 3101 Weston Rd., a highrise located at Sheppard Ave. W., shortly before 7 a.m. According to Constable Laura Brabant, there was an altercation between two men in front of a residential building. One of the men was stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon during the altercation.

The victim, identified as 32-year-old Dimitri Smith of Toronto, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. A suspect, identified as 46-year-old Dean Joel Constance of Toronto, was apprehended at the scene and has been charged with first-degree murder. Authorities have indicated that the two individuals were acquainted.
