Dustin Webb Missimer Obituary, Motorcyclist killed after hitting turning car near New Castle is identified

Dustin Webb Missimer Obituary – The Delaware State Police have identified Dustin Webb-Missimer, a 33-year-old man from the New Castle area, as the individual who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident near New Castle on Thursday.

Webb-Missimer was traveling south on South Dupont Highway (Route 13) on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle around 8 p.m. when a Mazda 3 attempted to turn into a Wawa parking lot from the northbound lanes of Route 13 at the intersection with Frenchtown Road (Route 273). According to authorities, the Mazda crossed the path of Webb-Missimer’s motorcycle, which was reportedly traveling at a high speed and without its lights on.

The collision occurred when the motorcycle struck the right side of the Mazda, causing Webb-Missimer to be ejected from his bike and onto the roadway. Webb-Missimer was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Mazda, a 16-year-old girl from New Castle, escaped the incident unharmed.
