Emelita P. Abendanio Obituary, Drunk driver killed Woman, daughter hurt in motorcycle collision
Emelita P. Abendanio Obituary – A 39-year-old female lost her life and her daughter sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash in Barangay Beddeng Laud on Wednesday, April 24.
The victim, Emelita P. Abendanio from Barangay Anonang Menor, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, was identified by Police Lt. Col. Rogelio Remiendo, the local police chief. Abendanio was operating a motorcycle with her daughter as a passenger when the motorcycle driven by John Carlo Quitoriano, 24, from Barangay Cabalangegan, Vigan City, who was reportedly intoxicated, veered into the victim’s lane, resulting in a collision.
Abendanio succumbed to severe head injuries, while her daughter and Quitoriano sustained injuries and were brought to the hospital. Authorities stated that Quitoriano is now facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and physical injuries.
