Sylvia Rose Obituary, Victim who fell from overpass, struck and killed identified as Seattle woman

Sylvia Rose Obituary – In the early hours of Friday, a tragic incident occurred when a woman fell from an overpass on Interstate 5 and was fatally hit by a car. A Washington State Patrol trooper noticed someone lying in the left lane of southbound I-5 near the Madison Street overpass shortly before 2 a.m. Despite the immediate response of medics, the woman was declared dead at the scene.

The investigation revealed that she had fallen from the Madison Street overpass onto the freeway and was subsequently struck by a vehicle. Regrettably, the car that hit the 21-year-old Seattle woman fled the scene. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Sylvia Rose, a 21-year-old resident of Seattle. As troopers conducted their investigation, the southbound lanes were closed at Madison Street for a duration of three hours and 20 minutes. WSP detectives are now seeking witnesses or any dashcam footage that could assist in identifying the vehicle involved in this tragic incident.
