Gary Johnson Obituary – Eileen Bright, a 75-year-old resident of Mays Landing, has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing and beating an 81-year-old man to death earlier this year. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office made the announcement on Thursday, May 23, 2024, stating that Bright was indicted on Wednesday for the March murder of Gary Johnson in his home in Mays Landing, New Jersey.
Johnson’s lifeless body was discovered by a nurse on March 31, just before 5:40 p.m., with multiple wounds to his head and body. The South Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Johnson’s cause of death was a result of blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. Bright has been held in custody at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, and it remains unclear whether she has legal representation to provide a comment on her behalf.
