Jaimie J. Russell Obituary, – The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department revealed on Friday, June 7, that the pedestrian who tragically lost her life in a collision on I-49 has been identified as 32-year-old Jaimie J. Russell.
Authorities mentioned that the fatal incident occurred just a few weeks before her upcoming birthday on June 20. The collision took place at approximately 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, prompting emergency services to respond to the southbound exit ramp from I-49 to Blue Ridge Blvd.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered that Russell had been struck by a Dodge Challenger. She was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Police highlighted that the driver of the Challenger stayed at the scene and has been cooperating with the investigation.
