Victor Fields Obituary, Man hit and killed while riding bicycle on freeway shoulder identified

Victor Fields Obituary – The deceased individual in the recent bicycle accident near Otay Valley Regional Park has been officially named as Victor Fields, a 66-year-old resident of San Diego. Fields was cycling along the shoulder of the southbound side of Interstate 805, heading towards an off-ramp at Palm Avenue in Otay Mesa when he was struck by a Toyota sedan at around 7:30 p.m. on May 29. Tragically, Fields lost his life at the scene of the collision, as confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
