Jasmin Gimon Obituary, Woman, 25, who died in Rockville Pike collision has been identified

Jasmin Gimon Obituary – The woman who died in the fatal two-vehicle collision on Rockville Pike on Saturday has been identified by state law enforcement authorities. Jasmin Gimon, 25, of Adelphi, was killed in the collision near Twinbrook Parkway in Rockville.

The Independent Investigations Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, in conjunction with Maryland state police, is currently investigating the incident. The two Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies involved in the attempted traffic stop related to the crash have also been identified. Deputy Connor Clifford, a six-year veteran, and Deputy Paul Nelson, a two-year veteran, are both assigned to the domestic violence division. The investigations division is continuing to look into the incident, which occurred after the deputies observed a Dodge sedan traveling at a high rate of speed.

The collision took place when the Dodge sedan collided with a Honda sedan driven by Gimon as she was turning onto Rockville Pike. Gimon was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger in the Dodge sedan was transported in critical condition.
