Jonathan Kloss Obituary, Missing jet skier found dead on 22nd birthday

Jonathan Kloss Obituary – Jonathan Kloss’s body was discovered in Lake St. Clair’s Anchor Bay on the day he was supposed to celebrate his 22nd birthday. Chesterfield Township police confirmed his death just after noon on Friday. After their jet skis capsized around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, authorities began searching for Kloss and his friend, 19-year-old Hunter Lentine of New Baltimore. Lentine was rescued by divers about 300 feet offshore on Thursday and is currently recovering at a local hospital.

Despite spending about five hours searching for Kloss the night he went missing, rescue teams called off the search. His body was recovered by the Macomb Sheriff Marine Division on Friday morning. Family and friends are grieving the sudden loss of Kloss, who was known for his passion for sports. He worked at Woodward Sports in Birmingham and was described as a hard worker who always had a smile on his face. Sam “Stick” Day, co-founder of Woodward Sports, shared that Kloss was a dedicated individual who was willing to help out in any way possible. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the jet skis flipping over.
