Josephine Deion Obituary – Louisiana State Police are currently looking into a head-on collision that resulted in the death of a woman in Terrebonne Parish on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as 71-year-old Josephine Deion from Houma. The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Bayou Gardens Boulevard Extension, situated between Louisiana Highway 660 and Louisiana Highway 316.
According to investigators, Deion was traveling east on Bayou Gardens Blvd Ext in a 2006 Honda Accord when she veered across the center line and collided with the Toyota in a head-on manner. Despite wearing a seatbelt, Deion sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, who was also wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The authorities are still in the process of investigating the crash.
